Today’s the first day of the onslaught of summer
They say it’s the longest day of the year
I hope and pray I'll be an overcomer
And bring a Spirit of love, not a spirit of fear
Help me march to the beat of a different drummer
Help me do the right thing though the crowd may jeer
To be long and lean like a long distance runner
To proclaim my dream and make it loud and clear
It's odd to believe in your God-given dreams but be not deceived
His truth will take hold of your hard-baked soul and you'll grow
a new pair of wings
No one knows which way the wind blows
or what tomorrow brings
Give no thought for tomorrow, let not anyone borrow
Your notes, your hopes or your dreams.
You've got to stand for something
or you'll fall for anything!
Wow, Stan, is there anything you can't do? I admire the publisher image and all you are accomplishing with Valley Views Mag; it's a gorgeous magazine; full color and everything. But I also like this good o' boy "entertainer" look.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know you were an entertainer too.
Keep up the great work,

Thanks, Betty, for the kind words. You are doing an awesome job in the writing department. I hope everyone checks out your Dames of Dialog blog and runs out and buys your Dream Reachers books.
